To enhance our services, fulfill our Cloud ambitions, and provide you with more certainty regarding hosting, we are fully transitioning to Azure.

At Florisoft, we are continuously working on improving and innovating our services to offer our clients the best solutions. In recent months, we have made significant strides, not only in the development of new software but also in the underlying infrastructure that supports it.

To keep pace with the rapidly changing market, we have decided to fully host our SaaS service on Microsoft's Azure platform. This decision was made after a thorough evaluation of current hosting options and is based on our goal of ensuring the stability and reliability of our services.

Azure, an initiative by Microsoft, provides us with the quality and reliability essential for the continued growth of our SaaS solutions. With their global network of data centers and the strong guarantees they offer, we can fulfill our ambition to deliver the highest level of service to our customers.

What is changing?

With the transition to Azure, we are specifically focusing on the hosting of our Florisoft software. For other IT services, such as Office 365, email, network facilities, and hardware, we will continue to work closely with our trusted hardware partners.

Gradual transition

The first steps of the transition have been taken. All new Florisoft users are now automatically connected to Azure. Additionally, a number of existing users have already been migrated. Currently, over 20 customers have been successfully onboarded. In the coming period, we aim to provide the same level of certainty to our other users who utilize our SaaS service. This process will be carried out in phases and gradually, while of course taking into account the specific needs and preferences of our users.

We expect the full transition to take approximately two years

Looking ahead

The move to Azure is a strategic decision aimed at our ambition and ensuring our future sustainability. We are confident that this step will allow us to further professionalize and optimize our services, enabling us to serve our users even better.
