Development Final Outbound Check App

After a few successful co-creation sessions, the prototype of the Final Outbound Check App is now a reality. Thanks to the valuable input, feedback, and experiences of the participants, a strong concept has emerged, and we’ve now reached the final step: technical implementation.

How does it work?

The Final Outbound Check App makes monitoring outbound orders significantly easier and more efficient. By scanning the products, the app displays the status of a shipment: ready and complete. This way, your staff knows exactly when a shipment is ready for dispatch, helping to prevent products from accidentally being included in the wrong shipment.

Additionally, real-time information allows you to better align your administrative processes, reducing the need for corrections afterward and ensuring that what is invoiced has actually been shipped.

Finally, the Final Outbound Check App provides extra assurance in case of misunderstandings with customers or carriers about the condition of the delivery. During the final check, you can add multiple photos of the shipment and/or products, which are accessible both internally and externally, helping to avoid potential disputes later on.

From Kick-off to Technical Implementation

Over the past few months, we’ve laid a solid foundation for the development of a user-friendly and valuable app. Together with a select group of engaged users, we’ve gone through the various phases of app development in a series of co-creation sessions.

Roadmap

Now that the prototype has been approved, we’ve started the technical implementation of the app. The first version is expected to be delivered around the summer.

First Version

The first version will include all the essential functionalities agreed upon during the co-creation sessions, based on the users’ needs and requirements. If there is demand for additional features, a new use case will be created after the initial release.

What’s Next?

Once the first version of the Final Outbound Check App has been delivered, it will be tested in practice together with the relevant users. In this final stage of development, feedback will be incorporated and the app will be fine-tuned. This ensures that the Final Outbound Check App is not only technically sound, but truly aligned with the wishes and needs of our users.
